Red Power

While I know I am overdue to put pics on from our July 4th trip to NY, my dad has been begging for pics from the Red Power show that we went to a couple of weeks ago. We had a really good time but have been quite busy since then. Therefore blogging has not been my first priority. Here you are Dad; now you can show all your buddies at work :)

The picture below was actually taken for Uncle Chad cuz he is a red man too, and Hunter thought he would like these undies. Of course, Mom was not about to buy him a pair, so Hunter did a "Vanna White" picture showcasing them.

This was probably my favorite part of the day. This is Bill Steers and Tractor Mac. He is the author and illustrator of a series of books about Tractor Mac, a Farmall tractor. Hunter loves these books which we discovered at the library. Grandma N. also found him one for Christmas last year. We got a new book at the show, and Mr. Steers autographed it for Hunter and posed for this picture with us in front of Tractor Mac. The school teacher in me loves children's books and thinks it is so cool to meet the authors, probably because I've always secretly wished I could write a children's book. Hunter was anxious to get to the tractors is why he doesn't look to thrilled.
He thought it was cool that he could jump up and down under this old tractor.

The video below is Hunter's first pedal tractor pull. Even though he didn't win, he had a great time. Sorry it is sideways. Once again I forgot that you can't turn the camera sideways for videos.
