Saturday, we had a party for Scott's birthday and invited family and friends to come hang out in our new garage for supper and cake and ice cream. It was the first time we've gotten to use some of our new space, and it was fun showing off the rest of it even though it is still very far from being done. It's actually probably better to do it now since people are really looking at structure and not my poor abilities in decorating (ha,ha). Scott was really good natured about the whole thing and even wore the flashing 40 pin. Hunter was on hand to help him blow out the candles(whew!). We had nice weather and sent all the kids that came home very dirty from playing in the sand that has been hauled in to where our new driveway will go.
