Trick or Treats

Hitting the trail (so fast Mom's picture is blurry)

Finally posing, once we were done. As you can see, one set of legs didn't
quite make it through the night.

By the end, our spider's legs just got too tired.
Halloween...trick-or-treating...candy, candy, CANDY. This year Hunter was all about spiders. As you saw previously, he had to carve a spider jack o'lantern and he wanted to dress as a spider. So I sewed arms onto a shirt and found a web tattoo to put on his cheek. He was a very happy spider. We decided to trick-or-treat in the town where we go to the library and Hunter's cousins live cuz that town had scheduled their trick-or-treating time for Thursday evening. I'm not sure why, but the weather was forecast to be much better on that day than today. It was probably 15 degrees warmer on Thursday than today. He, of course, could care less what day he got to go as long as he got to get some candy. We actually walked a large section of the town, and by the time we started heading back, Hunter was begging for a piggy-back ride from Dad. For the most part he had a good time, the only exception being the houses where the people handing out candy were dressed in anything mean or scary looking. Tonight I wanted to get pizza in the town close to our house so I let him dress up again and stop at a few places. The best was the fire station and the police station where they handed out glow sticks and big packs of fun dip. One elderly man said, "See you next year." As we were getting in the car, Hunter said, "Did you hear what he said? I have to come back again next year." The wheels of his mind were already spinning, I could tell.
