I don't have any pictures with this; I just wanted to remember a couple of cute conversations with my four year old.
This morning at breakfast Hunter prayed for us. The background knowledge you need to know is that I was watching my friend's two sons this morning. They were coming over right after breakfast. Here is the last part of his prayer: "Help Mark and Chad and me to have a Great time playing and catching bad guys. Help me and Mark to get all those bad guys locked up in handcuffs! Amen."
After supper, I was clearing off the table. Hunter came over with a pan and spatula (which he had "borrowed" out of my kitchen cupboard) stirring some of his play food. He was loudly proclaiming, "Lasagna, who wants some hot lasagna? It's got a special ingredient." I said, "Oh it does? What is your special ingredient?" "Jellybeans, try it; it's delicious" he replied. So, of course, I had to try some, and sure enough, it had a slightly fruity after-taste. When I said that to him, he promptly replied, "Well, that's because of the apples. They make it kind of touchy!" I just had to turn away so he wouldn't see me chuckling. What an imagination that kid has!
Our travel meeting with our adoption agency went well. I'm still reading and processing the numerous packets of information. I'm sure I will comment on some things soon.
