A Full Weekend

Posing with the judge; Shelby is yawning - definitely done and ready for some lunch!
It's Final!!!! Friday's court appearance was quick and easy and according to the laws of our land, Shelby is now officially ours. Sorry the picture is kind of blurry; someone else was operating my camera.

Then we came home and decided to camp out in our back yard.  I managed to set up the ten by myself (ok, Scott helped get a couple stakes down into the hard ground).  The kids did quite well sleeping in the tent which surprised me because it was Shelby's first time.  However the grown ups decided we need a bigger tent so we can fit air mattresses in it.  When did we get too old and stiff to sleep on the ground?  Of course two sprawling, wiggling munchkins between us probably didn't help.  It was fun, and Hunter is already begging to do it again.

Two hooligans playing in the tent

This time I opened the door for a better focus but couldn't get Shelby's attention.

We even managed to cook breakfast, bacon and eggs, over the campfire.

We amazed ourselves!  We'll turn into real campers yet.
