Answered Prayer

Hey, just wanted to update everybody on how the Lord cares about even the food in our freezer. In my last blog, I asked for prayer that Scott would get a deer. Not even 45 minutes after I posted, he got a doe. Yeah! It was really a good size one, and even though he had to track it a little bit, he easily found it in the corn field. Hunter was so excited for him. It was cute to see! I was worried that I would be up in the middle of the night with a child having nightmares about dead deer, but that was not the case. When I asked Hunter if he had had any bad dreams about deer, he said, "No Mom, I didn't have any deer in my bedroom." In a tone that clearly added the word silly at the end of his statement. So we now have meat in the freezer. Let's hope I can figure out how to cook it well. If anyone has great recipes they use with venison you can send them to me via email or facebook.
