Hunter and Brock get down and dirty but the girls aren't too sure.

All four boys (Mark, Titus, Brock, and Hunter) thought jumping in the mud was great!

On Tuesday, Hunter and I met some old friends and new friends at the Splash Park in Wakarusa. I didn't even know that Waky had one, but thanks to the Sommers and the Millers, we found it. We had a quick picnic, and then spent a couple of hours enjoying the sunshine and the water. We met a little boy named Mark who lives in Bremen (about 10 minutes from our house). He is just a few months younger than Hunter, and they had a great time together. Hunter has already asked two or three times if he can play with Mark again. The boys really had a good time when they discovered a big mud puddle at the edge of the concrete where the water was running off. They had fun getting covered in mud but didn't seem to appreciate the moms holding them under the fountains before packing up to go home. I'm thankful we could squeeze in some memories with friends while it felt like summer since the rain and cooler temps have returned.
